The idea of the Comfortaire Cerenity Mattress is so that it feels like your floating on air which is achieved by not one, but two air chambers making up the mattress. Compared to similar products by companies such as Select Comfort and Nautilus the Comfortaire seems like great value for money. You should be able to track down this specific Cerenity model for less than $1000. So how does it compare comfort wise? As with most air beds this is a matter of tweaking it until it is just right. Typically many people aren’t happy with their air mattresses straight away, usually they have the air chamber over inflated which makes the mattress too firm, or under inflated which makes it too soft. All you need to is keep adding or removing air until the firmness suits your needs. For some people they do this over a week or two. Some people can do it in one go.

The ComfortAire mattress comes with a choice of three air pumps, as you’d expect the more you spend the better pump you will get. The mid choice pump is more than sufficient, it’s not too loud and does the job without fuss. A pump with a digital meter might be an idea though so you can record the exact amount of air for future reference. Or you can do it the cheaper way - fully inflate the bed then release X seconds of air.

Once you have the firmness just right then the ComfortAire Cerenity is as good as most other air mattresses on the market without the huge price tag. The build quality is good, and guaranteed anyway. Probably one of the best over all mid ranged air bed.
